
The
The church is a one-room building with
one center aisle and pews on each side. Up front there is a raised pulpit area
and a piano. There are two windows in the front and back, two windows and a door
on the left side and three windows on the right side. The building does have
air-conditioning, heating and a handicap ramp on the left side. It will seat
approximately 100 people. There is no room in the church for a reception. The
restrooms are in a separate building near the church.
The cost for using the church for a
wedding is $350.00. The cost includes admission for guests coming into the park
for the wedding. You may use the church the afternoon/night before to decorate
and rehearse and all day of the wedding. An exception would be a Sunday wedding
as there is a church service at 9:00 a.m. each Sunday. The church would be
available at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday.
When you make a reservation to use the
church the payment is due in two weeks. A $50.00 service fee is assessed on all
cancellations. You must cancel 14 days before the reservation date to receive a
refund less the $50.00 service fee. However, if you cancel less than 14 days
before the reservation date your deposit will be forfeited. You may notify the
office of the cancellation by phone, but you must send a written request before
the refund can be made.
The park is open 7:00 a.m. until dark.
You go to the Country Store to pick-up the key to the church. There is a $5.00
key deposit that is refunded when the key is returned.
A horse and buggy cannot go up the
steep, paved hill to the church.
Remember when decorating that the church
is a historical building and do not use nails or anything that will damage the
building or furnishings. It is okay to use candles – just be careful!
